But as the success of PorchRokr grows bigger and bigger with each year, you might wonder: How did this thing get started in the first place? In this episode, we talk with Mark D. Smith, professional architect, and one of the original key organizers of the popular event. It’ll be no surprise to learn that there were a lot of local politics involved - and also a lot of enthusiastic Highland Square residents who made it all happen….
